Charmander 1999 Pokemon TCG Base Set 1st Edition #46/102

The Charmander 1999 Pokémon Base Set 1st Edition 46/102 was part of the original English Pokémon Base Set that was released in January of 1999. The card shows the Fire-type Pokémon looking over its shoulder after lighting a blade of grass on fire with its flaming tail. Beneath the art panel you will find the black 1st Edition stamp, indicating the card was part of the original print run of the set. Charmander was one of the original three starter Pokémon alongside Squirtle and Bulbasaur. It evolves into Charmeleon, before finally leveling up to the 1st Edition Base Set Charizard, the most iconic card from the original English Pokémon set.
