Coming off of a very successful 2011 Legends of the Hall product, Historic Autographs is very proud to announce our 2012 Legends of the Hall edition to coincide with the start of the 2012 Major League baseball season. As with the previous edition, this star-packed issue contains Hall of Fame plaque postcards as well as the ever-popular Perez-Steele postcard series. The 2012 edition will also contain beautiful Perez-Steele Celebration cards. This will allow Historic Autographs to meet our goals of making a better product by including more Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Willie Mays and Hank Aaron cards to dazzle even more customers. Historic Autographs has also included more of the desirable B&W Hall of Fame postcards and include highlights such as Jackie Robinson, Gabby Hartnett, Elmer Flick, Sam Crawford and the EXTREMELY SCARCE Perez-Steele Joe Cronin.

The autographed cards are housed in a specially designed frame that distinguishes our product from others. The 2012 edition will use a design emblematic of the 1930s art deco movement. The frame features a pair of vintage bats, gloves and baseballs with a small baseball diamond in opposing corners. The holders are color coordinated to enhance the signed postcards with cobalt blue and silver tones. The box will feature original artwork by Eric Ayers . The art depicts a Depression-era art style of a batter striking a ball with a filled grandstand as the backdrop. A short history of baseball during the 1930s and the opening of the Hall of Fame is printed on the inside cover of each box.

Each card is authenticated and encapsulated by PSA with every signature numerically graded. All cards are eligible for the PSA Set Registry and are serially numbered to 100 or less. A full checklist is printed on the bottom side of every box.

The Legends of the Hall will be ?made to order? so the production run will be no more than 10-box cases.
