Relics from the Wild West, bits of items from outer space, autographs from a diverse mix of athletes, recreated paintings -- this just touches the surface of the variety found in 2013 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions. While the diversity may be a little over-the-top for some, for others it's a refreshing break from the norm. It's not who that promised hit is, rather what it is.
The first week of sales reflect that. While the top-selling card sold on eBay in those early days was a Tiger Woods autograph (a healthy $1,520.67), the next three cards featured no athletes at all. Proving there are some devoted set builders for the Animal Kingdom Patch Cards, three of the high-numbered extreme short prints sold via Buy It Now for $1299.99, $1250 and $999.99 each.
