St. Louis Cardinals 2011 World Series Memorabilia Highlights

On the heels of their thrilling Game 6 comeback, the St. Louis Cardinals took the 2011 World Series Championship on Friday night. The Cardinals now lay claim to 11 Championships, which puts them second all-time behind only the New York Yankees.

The celebrations went into the weekend, culminating with a victory parade on Sunday. Although the official estimate of the crowd was not revealed, it is believed that hundreds of thousands were in attendance in downtown St. Louis. The parade ended in Busch Stadium to a sold out crowd, who had all bought their tickets within 90 minutes of the final out that clinched the win for the Cardinals.

Equally fast were several companies releasing 2011 World Series collectibles and memorabilia pieces. Major League Baseball has multiple World Series t-shirt variations, hats and a commemorative 24k gold coin. Steiner Sports is offering autographed balls and bats for Albert Pujols and World Series MVP, David Freese. They also have items from Cardinals manager, Tony La Russa, and limited-edition bats, balls and dirt. Also, Fathead has a Cardinals World Series Champion logo wall hanging available for sale. Topps will release a commemorative baseball cards set in late-November.

More items will continue to be rolled out over the next few weeks.
