Michael Jordan Love Letters to Be Returned

Love letters written by Michael Jordan for a high school sweetheart will be returned to their original owner.

As reported by WTVD-TV out in the Raleigh-Durham area, more activity has taken place since the original news story about Michael Jordan's love letters emerged. Laquetta Robinson was still distraught about her private information being made public without her consent. She recently learned that two more personal letters between her and Jordan had been purchased by Nate D. Sanders Auctions. They informed Robinson that they had purchased both letters for about $4,500 each and, at the time, did not know they were stolen.

In a nice gesture, Nate D. Sanders Auctions wants to do the right thing and return her stolen possessions. The auction house asked that she fax the police report she filed so they can begin the process of getting them back to her.

Although relieved that the letters would be returned, Robinson was still concerned by what else was stolen from her and might still be out there for all the world to see. The original letter that sparked the story is not part of the letters purchased by Nate D. Sanders Auctions. Its current whereabouts are unknown.

Robinson still does not know who took the letters from her home in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She suspects a family member took them, saying, "Obviously, whoever did it at the time didn't care about my feelings or what was personal to me. They were just out to profit from it."
