The "gum stains" aren't all exactly alike on the back. Rather, they're more like an application added to the card.

Early reports suggest that the 2015 Topps Heritage Gum Damage Backs are short printed, averaging about six to eight per 12-box case.

Topps hasn't officially acknowledged their existence (Update: they did on March 4), although a tweet that came in the midst of a discussion as to whether the cards were intentional or not suggests they are.
