Back again for another year, 2015 Panini Prestige Football Variations see a large increase in total number. While they are much easier to spot than most of the other photo variation cards out there, a complete side-by-side comparison can be seen below for each rookie player.
An upgrade over previous years of Prestige, base cards largely showcase players in college gear. However, a few utilize images from the NFL Combine. The 2015 Panini Prestige Football Variations are immediately evident because they include players with their NFL uniform.
Featuring nearly half of the rookie subjects in the base set, there are 40 different rookie variations found in 2015 Panini Prestige Football. They are not especially difficult to pull either, averaging 1:6 packs. Given this large quantity, it is easy to wonder why Prestige did not elect to just make the NFL version the base set. Nevertheless, this is still a better system than what was in place before. And with approximately four per Hobby box, collectors will surely get their fill.
