2014 Topps Football Power Players Details and Guide

Overview

Carrying over from Topps Baseball, Power Players have made their way to 2014 Topps Football. Collectors who have taken advantage of the promotion in 2014 Topps Series 1 and Series 2 Baseball will already be familiar with the interactive feature. However, for those that are new to Power Players, this guide will act as great starting point to maximize your experience with 2014 Topps Football Power Players.

To start, the Power Players inserts can be randomly found in retail and hobby packs of 2014 Topps Football at odds of approximately 1:12 packs. Next, visit the Topps FB Power Players website, www.topps.com/FBPowerPlayers, and either register for a new account using Twitter or Facebook, or login to your existing account. Enter the codes found on the back of Power Players cards to unlock the players in your locker.

Once the NFL regular season begins, collectors can "power up" 11 veteran parallels and 11 rookie parallels that have been unlocked in their locker. To be eligible for the weekly drawing, this must be done by Sunday at 12 PM EST. The lockers will close after 12 PM EST on Sunday and not reopen until 8 AM EST on the next Tuesday.

The following Tuesday, Topps will name one rookie and one veteran as the "Power Players of the Week" and all those who have the applicable player designated for that previous week are eligible for a free drawing for various prizes. The "Players of the Week" will be decided by Topps based on notable on-field or off-field accomplishments or milestones. There will be 150 random winners per week, including 50 from the Veteran Power Players and 100 from the Rookie Power Players. The promotion will last for 17 weeks, with the final "power up" deadline on December 28th.

Rewarding those who do not procrastinate, if collectors "power up" any rookies or veterans before 12 PM EST on Thursday, they are eligible for an "early bird" drawing that includes 25 winners each week. Entries from one Thursday "early bird" random drawing will not be carried forward to any other drawing.

In addition to weekly prizes, there are two grand prizes available. Collectors who unlock one parallel for each of the 220-card set are eligible to win their own personal card in 2015 Topps Football. Also, collectors who activate at least one player each week before the deadline are eligible to win a trip to the 2015 NFLPA Rookie Premiere, including one guest.

Redeeming 2014 Topps Football Power Players Codes and Playing Essentials

1. Go to www.topps.com/FBPowerPlayers.
2. Login/Register and create your locker.
3. Enter codes from Power Players cards to unlock payers.
4. "Power Up" any rookie or veteran cards before Thursday at 12 PM EST to be eligible for weekly "early bird" random drawings.
5. "Power Up" a maximum of 11 rookies and 11 veterans each week by Sunday at 12 PM EST to be eligible for weekly random drawings.
6. Collect the entire 220-card set to be eligible for the personal 2014 Topps Football card drawing.
7. "Power Up" cards in each of the 17 weeks to be eligible for the 2015 NFLPA Rookie Premiere trip drawing.
