If you've busted or are planning to break some 2013 Panini Elite Extra Edition Baseball, pay a little closer attention to the top of the base set. The first ten cards have variations that offer an alternate take.

The 2013 Panini Elite Extra Edition Baseball variations don't exactly tell a story, however there is a common thread that runs throughout them. While the regular versions of the cards offer a medium-shot, variations are tighter. A couple of these can be a little tricky to spot as the poses are close. The easiest ones to tell apart are those that use a different jersey.

Panini has not confirmed insertion rates for variations, although they appear to be somewhat tough. They're definitely short prints compared to the regular versions.
