Don't let the name fool you. 2013 Breygent Grimm delivers a solid lineup of autographs and the product that centers around the popular show is anything but grim.
Following a recent trend of shows that apply fairy tales to present day circumstances, Grimm is a fantasy police drama that has built a strong fanbase over the first two seasons of the show. Drawing inspiration from Grimms' Fairy Tales, the show has found a home on NBC and the third season premieres at the end of October.
While there are no huge stars, even those that do not watch the show should recognize a few of the names included in the product. David Giuntoli is the main character of the show and plays Detective Nick Burkhardt. Giuntoli got his start on the MTV show, Road Rules: South Pacific. Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio plays Giuntoli's mother, Kelly Burkhardt. Mastrantonio is a seasoned actress and is well known for her prominent roles in Scarface, The Abyss, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, The Perfect Storm, and others.
An actress on the rise, Claire Coffee plays Adalind Schade. Coffee has not had any large roles yet, but after stints on The West Wing, General Hospital and Franklin & Bash, she landed a starring role on Grimm and seems poised for bigger things. There is even a Baldwin. No, not Alec, but instead his brother, Daniel Baldwin.
A total of 17 names populate the autograph checklist. Adding to that total, everyone except for Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio has two different signed cards available. Collectors will notice that multiple pen styles and ink colors were used, but the rarity of each is not known at this point. While there is not a specific number of autographs guaranteed for each box, autographs, prop cards, and costume cards combine to fall 2-3 per box.
