Each year, 2013 Bowman Chrome Baseball is a haven for collectors looking for the next big thing or a diamond in the rough. While many prospects do not pan out, the excitement of finding that elusive star is a big draw. This year there's definitely an international flavor to the 2013 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autographs with several free agents who weren't in the MLB Draft.
A couple of players on the Prospect Autograph checklist have just made their major league debuts. Pitcher Erik Johnson saw his first big league action on September 3 while Jimmy Nelson of the Brewers debuted three days later. Onelki Garcia of the Dodgers played his first game on September 11.
2013 Bowman Chrome Baseball also has rookie autographs. Among them is Braves standout and fan favorite, Evan Gattis who doesn't have any other certified autographs on the market yet, but 2013 Topps Chrome Baseball will edge out Bowman Chrome as the first by two days.
2013 Bowman Chrome Baseball autographs don't stray from what makes the brand popular with prospectors. Besides basic autographs, there are many levels of colored Refractors as well.
Many may notice the lack of 2013 draft picks. They're the focus of 2013 Bowman Draft Picks & Prospects Baseball, which is currently scheduled for November.

2013 Bowman Chrome Baseball Rookie Autographs

Although his strong spring training in 2013 resulted in a call-up, Maurer has put forth an inconsistent season for the Mariners. Despite this, his young age (23), and potential make him a player to watch.
RA-BR Bruce Rondon
Detroit Tigers, Pitcher
Venezualan-born Bruce Rondon is a hard-throwing pitcher who was promoted early in the 2013 season. Limited opportunities and minor league assignment has kept him in check, but the eventual plan is to make him the main closer for the Tigers.
RA-EG Evan Gattis
Atlanta Braves, Catcher
One of the standout players from the 2013 rookie class, it has taken a while for the ball to get rolling of Evan Gattis cards. Prior to the release of 2013 Bowman Chrome Baseball, he'd appeared in just a few sets. Collectors finally have a certified Evan Gattis autograph card to chase.
RA-HJR Hyun-Jin Ryu
Los Angeles Dodgers, Pitcher
The South Korean sensation has been overshadowed by teammate, Yasiel Puig, but has put forth an impressive rookie year with the Dodgers. Collectors have several autograph options for the young pitcher, notably 2013 Bowman Platinum Baseball.
RA-JP Jurickson Profar
Texas Rangers, SS
Although he has mostly spent his time in the Majors filling in for an injured Ian Kinsler, Jurickson Profar has shown flashes of greatness which has collectors hoping for the future. There are quite a few autograph prospect options as signed Jurickson Profar cards started appearing in products in 2010. Note that Profar has autographs under the Chrome banner from other Topps products.
RA-MO Mike Olt
 Chicago Cubs, 3B
While his early play has been disappointing, the potential is there for Mike Olt. Originally drafted by the Texas Rangers in the first round of the 2010 MLB Draft, he was traded to Chicago as part of the Matt Garza trade. Note that Olt has autographs under the Chrome banner from other Topps products.
RA-WM Wil Myers
Tampa Bay Rays, OutfielderÂ
Wil Myers is no stranger to Bowman and already has several autographed prospect cards. Strong play has put him in the discussion for AL ROY and the Rays primed for a playoff run.
